Normally I ride the spot, and usually on Saturday because I usually work on Sunday. X2 Frank and AlldayJay are also mostly Saturday riders.
Idok & Butti & more of the crew usually ride either Vilano or the spot, but usually on Sunday because Idok works on Saturdays.
Also, a good bunch of riders come over from the Orlando area and down from Jax but I wouldn't count on them coming unless the waves are worth it.
Just post when you're riding. You won't be alone!

south of crescent beach about 5 miles or so.go across the inlet bridge and turn right into summer island and follow the dirt road all the way back and thats the spot.

No trailer problems. At high-tide your tow vehicle may have to go in 6-8" of water. Low tide is easy, even with no 4x4.

cool good deal cause i got a 2wd ranger but i got a long ass trailer, i just hope i can get my blaster running right by then so i can actually ride for more than 20 min at a time. ill see if i can get a few peopel to come up with me maybe we can have a good group out on sat and sunday

We have talked about coming down that weekend but may hold off till Memorial weekend, will just have to see how next week goes.
All the driving is getting to me plus we still haven't gotten our trailer issues resolved yet. We may go to Savannah next sat to pick up a 6x10 enclosed V-nose instead.

Between the truck and trailer I'm getting killed lately. On top of replacing outer tie rod ends last weekend, I put all new brakes on as well. I found one of the rear brake lines crimped off so the right rear would not apply or release so I actually picked up 1 solid MPG on my mileage and found the truck actually stops pretty decent again. Every little bit helps with the price of fuel these days.

I applied for a HIN for the Matrix as well but haven't seen anything yet. I'm hoping to get away with riding it without regs or HIN for a little bit longer anyways.

MEDIUM RANGE FORECAST DISCUSSION: The El Nino winter roller coaster ride ended in mid-April when the southern jet stream shifted from the northern Gulf of Mexico well to the north over the CONUS, and progressively weaker FROPAs became well-spaced out. Consequently, surf stayed on the small side late April into early May as increasingly hotter high pressure built over the state. Looking ahead for some relief to the hot/small summer-like conditions, another back-door ”cool” front could produce another rotating NE/E swell before the month’s end. I’ll still limb-walk (for another few days) by calling for a open ocean low to deepen in the western Atlantic around May 20th, sending a long period ground swell our way. Stay tuned.

I've been stopped once in the last 5 years. A lot of guys with some pretty custom ski's don't even display FL numbers.

But, you're on your own when it comes to obedience! If somebody tells you not to worry....that's the day you get popped.

It's true. Magic seaweed always has a bigger forecast. It's also true that the waves at the spot are always significantly bigger than the surf station report.

But I think magic seaweed uses buoys that are 40-60 miles offshore for thier predictions.

The wind is the key....usually. But this weekend is GROUND SWELL. Even if it's 2 feet or less it will be fun.

lol im trying iv been trying all dam week, every day this week something went on that i could nto work on it, i got a guy coming to buy my superjet tomorrow then im going straight to the lake to try her out, and im looking for a decent hotel to stay at also, so i can get out of town for a cupple days and hopefully ride sunday.

lol good to meet ya dan, sorry i could not make it sat lol, ohh and i found the problem as soon as i got home dan, i had cut the overheat sensor, and it just happen to be laying down in the bottom of the hull and the salt water making it short out, i got home rinsed it out and it was find lol wish i would have though about that while i was there we could have rode all day lol

hopefully ill be back soon with a few buddys
