A nice cold case of beer and possibly some burgers will go to anybody who can (properly) tune up my ski for me at Ipperwash this saturday. It's an 04' sj with A.D.A head, Jr.Magoo porting etc... It has stock dual Mikuni 38's and has been re-jetted, but I can't get this thing to purrrrrr. Please help. If you game, P.M me and let me know what beer to buy you... Thanks

Lance Lakes has smitty's old stock 38's and they had some work done to them, they were on his stock stroke lamey, then on a speedwerx ported motor then back on a stock 701 61x with total loss and just a little turn of the screws here and there and they work Awesome. They are in my garage maybe pm him to see if he will bring them for you to try??? Steve LOVES BEER!

i don't think smitty has a puter these days but Steve akd LANCE LAKES has his old carbs and ran them on two different motors with a b-mod and they were clean all through the circuits. now they sit in a box in my garage, i am sure he would let you try them out or check the jetting. i remember smitty saying that he had put alot of $ into to getting them modded so that may be the ticket there. ipperwash sat/sun

what up roc!!!those carbs are great,i think smitty might wan't them back also.i have no need for them cause of the motor coming but i'd like to give'm up to someone who needs them...
