DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!
On 4/6 Michael Lee contacted me via cell phone to sell me a part that I've inquired about on line. He told me that the part was (jetski Pump w/driveshaft) in perfect condition, I asked him to send me a picture of it, he said he couldn't do it. He told me to purchase this item with confidence, if the part is not perfect, I can send it back and he will refund the money. So I sent him $75 to PP account Diannehlee@yahoo.com (the account that he gave me) . After sending the money and waiting for his reply. I saw the part which I have paid for listed on line for sale. After seeing the picture on line, I contacted Mike and asked him what was going on. He told me that I sent the money to a different account that he had in mind. And after seeing the part, I told Mike that I did not want it because it did not meet the description as being perfect. He told me that he will refund the amount but that was 6 days ago. Our last phone conversation ended with him stating that he will refund the money when the fund cleared his account. The excuse he gave did not make any sense. Mike have broken our agreement and now is avoiding to refund the money.

I bought a set of Carbs from durbanmagick on 4/6. Same story I spoke to him on the phone. Sent money via paypal to Diannehlee@yahoo.com . I never got my carbs and haven't heard from him since. He doesnt return any of my calls or emails. Tried to dispute it with paypal but an error comes up saying I cannot dispute this transaction.

Did you send it as a "GIFT"? Because if you did you can not get refunded nor dispute for ur money. Only use the Gift option if you really know the seller well.

he sold me an oem pump liner/carb adaptors/flame arrestors.
The stuff was packaged horribly and broke the top of one of the flame arrestors and the OEM pump liner was a WSM.
He hasn't returned my pm's either. Guess I will stop buying from rookies on this site.

My order from him was messed up also but I actually got 95% of the stuff I bought from him. He has sent me PMs back today,
did the rest if you hear from him today?

I did hear from him and he said he would refund my money for the damaged flame arrestor. I will post results when they happen. This communication process seems a bit slow as I don't think he signs on here much.
I will post here again next time I have some new information.

I bought the pump that 2ride probably bought and did not receive anything 2 weeks later. Paypal sent me a tracking number but he did not ship the goods. Just filed with paypal. This is the first time I have been burned, never woulda thought it would have been from someone on this site.

Good thing I didn't buy anything from him, was going to buy a set of umi bars he had on here. He listed them for $50 and then few days later posted that he would take 35, I pm'd and said I'd take them for 35. He pm'd back and said he wanted 50 instead. Very shady to put up a price and then when someone takes you up on it change your mind. I didn't even try to get him to take any more off, I was giving him his asking price and yet still got a higher counter offer.

Any one hear anything on this clown?
I know of someone else he screwed too for 50+ bucks and nothing can be done since it was sent as a gift (lesson learned on my friends part).
I have started a paypal dispute with him where he contacted me asking what I bought, which I don't understand since its in my receipt with paypal.
so does anyone live near by?

You might try the guys that ride in his area if they know him. They hang out here http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?39930-Guadalupe-River-Riders/page185 Maybe someone can swing by the house and talk to the guy. I would but its a 4 hour drive for me.
Sorry to hear you guys lost your money.

I never got any money back. He sent me an email asking how much he charged for the flame arrestors and said he would refund it. The was 3 weeks ago. Haven't heard anything since. I have since turfed the top of the flame arrestor where there was a hole from improper shipping/packaging. I still need to replace the WSM wear ring that is worn and was sold to me as OEM.
Lesson learned for me. Cost me 100 bucks for some shoddy parts that I had to do a botched fix on/replace parts on. Oh well.. I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone do business with the guy in the future.

That guy lives like 1/4 mile from my ride spot. I'll knock on his door this summer once I get back in town and tell him I'm from a collection agency or something. I'll be like the "The Dog", lol, just kidding, but I will inquire for you. Looks like he owns a business, Handy Man on The Island. Just go on the CC craigslist and put him on blast and get the word out about how he is. People on the island are lame anyway. I still cannot believe they built the Tortuga Dunes like that, you know that took some money to get the vegetation line reduced so they could build. That will be the first place to go once a storm hits, watch, and you know one's coming some day. I bet they close J P Luby to traffic in a few years too. Packery channel is a financial disaster anyway, PPP all the way. There was NO economic reason to put it there, but I really enjoy it though. It will end up just like fish pass without our valuable tax dollars dredging it every couple of years because the jetties are WAY to short and boats capsize frequently in the channel due to surf. Nope, I don't care for the islanders too much.
