It started out looking like just a little stress crack on the hood, next to the pole pivot point and running down along the fuel filler cover. The last few times I took it out it made a funny kind of hollow sound when landing (not that I get any big air, I am still learning how to ride this thing).
I looked under the front the other day and to my horror, this is what I found.
I need to know how this can be repaired or should I just try to find another hull and swap everything out?

(I took these pics in the macro setting, so they are really close up and make the cracks look a lot worse than to the naked eye).

Give us some pics further back so we can identify exactly what they are from.

Thanks.

This is where the damaged areas are:

Sorry, it's pouring rain all day, unable to get pics but maybe you can figure this out from the locations. There were no cracks on it when I bought it, I haven't hit anything, no big air. Could this be previous damage that was covered up?

I wonder if I' ll have to remove the pipe, motor, fuel tank, foam and whatever else, just to see if the cracks go all the way through!?
Never done body work before.:scared:

I would remove everything and have a looksee in there.it may need some glassing done from the inside anyway by the looks of it.

George, are you here or there?

I will come look at it if you want, and we could probably have a glassing party at my house on the weekend (I'm reinforcing my SJ this weekend).

What a great idea, unfortunately, I am still "stuck" up here in soon to be "snowmobile country".
Have to figure out how to get 3 skis, 1 single trailer and 2 cars (with no tow hitches) back home without having to buy a Kenworth and a 50 foot trailer.
That's what I get for buying all these toys!
