After I gave up on tuning my ski (another story), Josh let me take a rip on his Rickter FS1 with the x-scream 1000. OMG,OMG, OMG!!!!!!!!
Unless I hit the lotto or something there is not one in my future. But, if I could afford it, I would do it in a heartbeat. That thing is insane. It's not even completely dialed in. (another tank or two of leaning the highs).
The "hit" is unbelievable and immediate. You would think it was on asphalt with 20" wide tires.
I almost couldn't ride it. (I'm used to a 701 with average bolt-on's)
The Rickter tray is suitable for sleeping three. A very stable boat. It would take some getting used to, but WOW.
I found that "surf stance" is the only way I could ride. With feet in the holds, (I'm not a small guy), It would wear out my arms just putting around. Surf stance helped absorb some of that body weight when it hit.
Thanks to Josh for the burn!
