I have a88 js550. It only has an exhaust as a engine mod. Last Saturday I took the ski out and ran it for an hour and a half. It ran strong and had no problems. The next day I took it out and was expecting a great day with some friends but I was wrong. I got it unloaded and to make a all day story short I had hell getting it started, had to jump start it several time, and the few times I got it running it would let me ride long enoufe to get comfortable and would take off then would stop. Basicaly I kept fighting with it thinking it was running lean. After a couple hours I desided to take a different route. I pulled the plugs and they didnt seam bad. cleaned them and removed to fuel line and started turning the motor over. It started sounding like it was going to start. Afet a few spins I stuck the line back on got it running staped it on to a dock fan it for 20min revving it. So as I got on it and took off it died and would not restart. I took it home and messed with it for hours got it starting perfectly over and over reving and running great but the first time I got on it in the water it ran, felt like it chocked and would not restart. It had new plugs (BR8's then BR7's)(aprx.035) , carb and fuel pump cleaned. jets turned aprx 1 turn out, new gas, has "good" spark, 40-1 mix.. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks sorry so long:banghead:
