did they ever make "seats" for 550s/etc..??

ok, now, all summer there have been 2 or 3 hicks coming out on saturdays to the lake.

one guy has two X2s, and the other, probably 1/2 dozen 550s.

i ALWAYS see the 550 guy on a different ski. he is classic. orangie lifejacket, 80s swim trunks, full on beard, etc etc. sometimes his skis run, sometimes not. he ALWAYS rides kneeling (well, 90% of the time).

now yesterday, he was there with yet another 550, but with some sort of SEAT in the back, on which he was kneeling. i wanted to go to the ramp to ask, but only got a few buzz by glances at it. it was painted to match, and sort of looked like a truck tonneau spoiler. it appeared better than handmade.

any ideas???

Yea I think I remember see one on Ebay a while back. Kinda strange that people want to put a seat on a stand up.

I think you are talking about the Wedge they sold for 550's. It was a big float that wrapped around and had a seat thing in the back. They used them for flagmen on race courses before they had sitdowns.
