What's up with you guys....... I had to name our riding group.....:cheer:
Well actually - Ronny came up with the idea!!!
It was hard to decide between Paul's idea (Lanier Leapers) or this...... I believe we chose well..... Sorry Honey!!! :cheer:

So it looks like I am going to be able to make it to Jet Ski Cove on Sunday.
I've got a couple questions though...
-What time do ya'll think you'll be out there?
-Do you launch near the "cove" and is there a way to drive a car down to the cove with gas cans, lunch, and such?
-Does someone have an exact address of where you all launch so that I can mapquest it?
I appreciate the help and I look forward to riding with you all.
Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan...
Glad to see you are coming out! Most of us get there around noon (except Ronny of course...LOL)
There is a boat ramp there! You pull up just before the boat ramp and unload and there is a little (short) path to the water. I have included a link to the condos that are right before entering the park - best I could find as far as directions:
http://www.lanierbeachsouth.com/find.html
It is a great place to ride and it does have a small beach too!!!!
See you tomorrow!

I don't know if anyone is interested or not, but I've got some bouys I was thinking about bringing if anyone is up for runnin some bouys. I'm always game for runnin some bouys on my blaster.
I know most of you all are freeriders, but I thought I remember there were a few racers up by you. I'm more of a freerider myself, but when I'm stuck on flatwater the bouys come out.

Don't know if we can get away with it but it would GREAT!!! My daughter is racing in Nashville and I know would love the practice!!!
We can put them out and hope for the best from the DNR... They usually leave us alone.... except for Deputy Fiff from the park rangers!!!!
Great idea!:cheer:

Thanks for the directions Kathy. I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm going nuts being landlocked in Alabama. I'm coming from Peachtree City, GA tomorrow morning and mapquest is telling me to take 85 to GA 400 and get off at exit 14. Does that sound right to you?
Wow, is it actually against the law to set up bouys on Lanier?

yes, that's right--exit 14--oh and there is a $.50 toll on 400--so be prepared.
