PM and we can set up a time. We ride every weekend. Your closer to Long beach where LBE lives, and Ocean side harbor is where a lot of guys ride also. PM Ross_C JetSkier79 or Mike Serlin

Can anyone tell me if anyone rides in Ventura or Santa Barbara? New to the sport and just got myself an 89 Kaw 650sx. The other question is what mods should I make without blowing the budget? Thanks

ventura or pismo would be your best bet...make a day trip up to pismo to get aquainted with surf ridig

I always thought it was interesting that so many people are in SoCal on here, and the local section is always dead. If anything, I thought the group would be at least be stickied in the riding groups. Go figure, I was wrong again.

it takes 3 hours for the guys in ventura to get to o-side. more likely to catch them at home.
i would but the ski is at Jet Works................... so its Venice for me!:439:

Everyone leaves out of oceanside harbor around 8am. There is a boat ramp, but a beach cart is a great way to transport your ski to the water if you don't have a trailer.

go right (north) out of the Harbor and go ride around the creek run off.

any of you guys make it out this weekend? I launched out of Dan Point to jump the reef break, waves were HUGE! so much air, I need to make it down to O-side one of these days
