Head bonk

:woot: Took a nice blow to the forehead tonight. I was just tuning my boat and jumped a couple of wakes and was kicking it sideways in the air. Landed a little off and I think I smacked the backside of my throttle or I hit the bars. 15 stitches and a mild concussion. 13 on the surface and 3 in the muscle below. Looks like I get the week off of riding :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Boat is running like a scalded dog though :biggthumpup:

that sucks dude! thats FIFTEEN stitches?? looks tiny. im sure it hurt though. its all part of the fun! at least your eyeball didnt get effed up.

I thought it would be like 1 stitch but it was more of a tear than a cut. It was a big enough gash that you could stick the tip of you finger in it. I was going to just buterfy bandage it but the Dr. said I would have had a scar......so he removed all the dead tissue and kept the stitches small to aviod scaring. Also put a gash in the muscle so he had to stitch that up as well. Talk about bleeding like a mofo.........my ski was covered in blood. With white turf it looked liek I was shot :haha:

somehting about facial injuries on skis. when i busted my face up i bled for nearly 6 hours
it was annoying and messy

still can't breath right, kinda sux having a big nose, get's in the way


that guy smashed a lot of stitches in a little area , should heal up nicely
