I was checking out on the Oceanobeachrace.com website and came across a few pictures of the moto race.

Is anyone planning on racing the MX event?

Here is the link: http://www.oceanobeachrace.com/2005pics/moto.html

enough with this "if Joe doesn't let me in" ... It makes us all sound pathetic as if we dont compare. Which i think is BS

It is a Joke with me and Joe, I gave him crap last weekend while we shared a glass of milk. And yes I know a committee will be choosing the riders not Joe. I personally wish there was more than 16 riders but that made it easier to get the permit and better for Joes "event platform" he is going for. So I guess I'll stop the BS.

So does anyone know when the latest you can sign up for the race is?

You could call WORCS and find out when advance registration ends. Still, you ought to be able to get in fairly late. Bring your bike anyway, there will be plenty of riding to be had outside of the race.

I didn't know you were a dirtbike guy...we ought to go ride sometime. Always looking for recruits from the jetski crowd...

That looks like a blast, thanks for letting us know about it. Is it the same weekend as the freestyle jet ski event?

I'll be bringing it either way. I am down for a ride. A few guys I work with and I usually ride at Mountainview, Longview MX, Salem, and Jones Creek. Sand Lake and Florence type places usually end up in broken parts and trouble for me so I usually try to stay away from them.

It is the same weekend Dirtrider, come on down.

 Perfect, now bring your bike (and your mom) to Pismo! Sand is fun...

We got in a few good days in the dunes and are as ready as we're going to be. Oh and Mike...no paddle tires allowed! Knobbies only...
