it sucks when evetns in the sport get cancelled but look at it this way.... more people can attend the jersey rager from the west coast now

We all saw the writing on the wall. The IFWA squeaked in with a permit last year, and it was obvious that it wasn't going to be so easy this year.

Fortunately, we have the Freestyle Surf Slam. Sure, there will be an absense of international riders, but the event is going to be killer, and will hopefully set a precendence.

IFWA will be Back in the USA next Year. It has to have an Event in USA for Global media sales.
You will see some new faces behind the IFWA here in the states.

Surf Slam is endorsed but not a sanctioned IFWA event.
All in the sport are watching it closely to evaluate it.
