Anyone have a extra cover that covers the gas cap and oil cap? I lost mine in the surf on saturday the 22nd at the spot in some monsterous waves.It was big and fun out there.Down right kinda scary out there at times.But could'nt pass it up.Good to see all the people that showed up.

I always loose them. So I just don't run one. I always threatened to make a better door but that requires effort and motivation...

Fill it in with foam and bondo.. sand ... paint... no more problem!!

What I don't understand is the door is like 14 bucks from your Kaw dealer - but that is just the door - not the latch too - and one went on ebay for like 40 bucks...

I got a price a while back from Kawasaki, $14 for the door and $90+ for the lock!

i glued a 1/2" thick piece of foam to the inside of mine and it makes it float and puts a little bit of pressure on the latch so it doesnt fall off the only time i had a problem is when i was riding on the hood it came off once but it floated so i got it back.
