Simple to install, and fairly inexpensive.
30 degrees of trim without modification.
Individual parts sold separately, for the "CATS"
Contact Radney at xscream@tampabay.rr.com for pricing and details
Thoroughly tested for 2 months on my personal XS1000 :brap:

Killer Patrick!
Nicely done - I love the cable attachment bracket. No more eliminating one of the long pump bolts.

I notice two different versions of the trim ring in the pictures, which one are you selling?

The first one has a flat metal type cable bracket and the other is round rod type.

Also one cable holder is anodized red and the other silver; do they come in different colors?

Your right... the assembled pic is of the prototype, and the clean stuff is the production run. I'll have the new pics shortly.

Its super easy to install and adjust. If you use the raider nozzle you have to grind off the rib on top so the ring will clear, other than that it just bolts up.
You can get away with welding bosses on a pre08 SJ nozzle, and save some cash. Raider nozzles are about 200 retail.
But a raider steering nozzle, or protec style nozzle is required

i wish i could just order stuff with paypal or credit card through the x-metal site. i would have spent a couple K more this year on whim purchases im sure :-)
would be way convenient. "our online shopping cart system isn't ready yet, but will be soon" lol apparently almost a year of me checking doesn't equal "soon" :-)

Dude, just call 'em!

I have spent MULTIPLE MULTIPLE THOUSANDS in the last few months via the phone and credit cards with them :cool2: Radney is super cool to deal with and tells it how it is.

Btw, nice work XMetal! Cable looks the same as my Thrust Innovations system. Super strong, no issues.

That would be a very reasonable suggestion was i not in Iraq. :-)
lol im pretty sure they dont want phone calls at 3am to discuss various parts options for a boat that isnt being built for a few months lol
