No problem with the shirt orders. Thanks to every one that ordered. We couldn't take the heat either. It was great to see everyone again.

it was not so much the heat as it was the wind, lightning thunder and rain.

How bad was the storm? There was a lot of lightning here at home but no rain and not much wind.

Ask Eric and Amber...
When you put it like that I don't think I want to ask.
I had a really bad feeling that the rain / storms were on the way, and if I had to put that rain thing on the tent, I would have died. 103 temps during the day were enough. I did think that the ski count was down along with the campers. Did anybody get a final ski count?

I had counted 33 skis. I know there were a few more out riding and some more kept showing up through out the day.

Yeah sat night was a wash out for us. Amber and I ended up packing up in the middle of the storm and heading back to my parents house. I guess we need to look for a new bigger tent now, cause we didnt come home with ours.

Skicrazy can vouch with me that the water at PB2 on Saturday was great - compared to PB1 area when we took a little ride Friday evening. THAT was HOT!!
We wimped out on Saturday night too - for various reasons (and lucked out on the weather then I guess). I do want to tell everyone that Jake (Experimental) and I really enjoyed the event, we will certainly be back next year.
Those who didn't make it - you missed a great day of riding. Make it next year please - we need all the folks there in attendance.

I think there were at least 37. there could have been a few more though that I missed. WE were prob down about 15 skis and camping was way way down.

I wish I would have been able to make it to this event but I had to work all weekend, it looked like a blast from the pics I saw in other threads. Does anyone here ride LOTO regularly?

i have a place at the 34 mm on LOTO. i am one cove down river from Captin Rons. so we get a lot of big cruisers by here but don't have to muscle through super rough water to get to them.

I ride the 28 (Millers Landing) every other weekend.
Anything from the 28mm on up is pretty sweet.

I'm in a big cove at the 10 MM on the Sunrise Beach side. Theres a free public boat ramp about a mile away from me if anyone ever wants to get together to ride.
onesojourner, I rode with you and ketsair about 2 years ago at Table Rock. You guys definitely convinced me to buy a standup.

I was on the square nose that had the yellow, white, and black design. I'm like 5 docks down from the marina.

Thanks man, but I have to though out a big thanks to KAWI (Matt) for helping me stripe the design out and help with painting. The VW is not complet yet. I'm still building it. But will get pics soon. Its a 58 bug with the sliding ragtop sunroof. I have a narrowed front beam, bigger engine, full air ride suspension- it will lay FLAT on the GROUND!!!:Banane25: Plus some other custom mods to it. Its just another toy. Maybe next year it will be pulling my skis for the next invasion!
