Camping at sebastion for me. If its labor day we have to call it now to see if we can even get spots at long point to camp.

I can make that weekend also,Ive been wanting to get down to sebby for a long while now. I have a business trip planned for close to then. you fl boyz keep a eye out for a good square nose,I need a good secondary ski to keep down there. rooms at hirams sounds more fun to me.

ok, so, labor day weekend is sep 4, let's do it the next weekend.. that way we can get camping spots at sebby/longpoint and party it up.. and we dont have to trash nick's house again.

any objections:

1) to that weekend
2) to that location.

i know it's not slutty's fav place, but unless he's willing to give up his house again for that weekend, its our best option? longpoint is CHEAP! and that weekend should have spots available.

all in favor? all opposed?

Im down! That gives me plenty of time to tune my ski! Yea I like the long point camp ground alot better, but Sebby is more convienyant. Up too you guys, I may try to get my moms toyhauler out there. Sleep in some comfort. I guess it may cool off a little by then 2.:headbang:

Alright, that sucks, going to the Blowsion party/visit the 'rents?

Should we lock it in then? sebastian sept 9-10?

or 'secret spot' again and we camp on the rustic campsites there?

i could probably also bring a pop-up camper if we go to sebby that sleeps about 6-8, a/c , ..etc.

 I'm going to see the family... I'll catch up w/ everyone at the next one.

Ponce inlet is another option. There are beaches available for spouses and picture taking on both sides of the inlet plus Disappearing Island. The New Smyrna zone is not in a good spot that weekend (most likely closed at high tide). The Daytona zone would be close to where the January ride was.
Check out "My Location" and you can see where those beaches are.
Also, I have room for a bunch of peeps with trailers etc at my house. And I have woods all around and neighbors that like to party.
Just another option. If it's Sebby this time we can do this next time.
P.S. I hate camping!

It is a Possibility. If I can get my boat over to the other coast (I cannot tow yet) + If I can get this new tranny in before then too.

Right now I can only 60 MPH. I am hoping to squeeze another 7 MPH out of old bernard. We will see.

If the bus dont go and the pop-up dont work out there is always the tent. I know how you love the tent....Teddybear!

Saki, hope u don't mind but I contacted Capt Hiram's about group rate discount for those not wanting to camp (already been told to reserve 3-4 rooms by some of the guys, so...). Figured when the campers wanted a decent shower and party...and when the comfe ones wanted to sit over the campfire could trade off :thewave: :beerchug:

I spoke with Sales Dept. explaining message board with 1000+ members and 70,000 post since January. (Torr, told them would guarantee spot in vid of Tiki Bar Party for promo) Sales is currently passing it up the ladder to Corporate regarding getting major discount, all the same rate no matter what type room to make it easy. They have roughly 25 rooms currently left on the river/tiki bar side. Told them no idea how many people as of yet, that you guys posted all over the board already (lol) that they were too expensive :Banane01: - so they prob looking to negate those comments.:cheer: Trying to get back with me this evening with answer and will post end result up for all.

Okay...here's the scoop on Hirams

Hiram's has a new property manager that isn't willing to do an across the board rate for rooms as was originally mentioned by the Sales Dept:banghead:, however, I did manage to get a group rate discount on all rooms.

What's currently left on the river (and they are booking quickly) are eight kings and three Queens (there are other rooms on the other side of the street, but you don't want to stay there unless you are REALLY tryin to save extra $...it is cheaper). Some of the river rooms have adjoining doors (meaning you can open and go from one person's room to another if want). A request can be made for these rooms side by side, but no guarantees. They are in the process of putting refrig and microwaves in all rooms, but you have to request a room with those amenities at this point.

Riverside:

Just pulled this to this thread Torr. Do u think he would really bring it down? That would be beyond cool for down there.

Remember Idok told me he wouldn't be able to make it, and then Lawson tells me tonight he has Rambo duty that weekend...no getting out of it. That's just no good at all (not to sound negative, lol).

Ewok taking me over to Lawson's for the Blaster late Sat (Rambo duty again). Idok, Ewok looking at other things he's selling, and Lawson thought u might be interested in coming also for diff things he has...thinking leaving auggie around 6.

thx SirSaki! Charlie's painting it for me...thinking metallic black with fluorescent pink design (haven't fully decided and have been trying to find other's pics to help me decide on design)...hopefully turns out cool lookin b4 Sebby! Need a diff throttle bar since hands so tiny...hard to wrap fingers round it, and a new seat!

Was seriously wondering if I had made mistake buying it yesterday after getting it in the water; surf was wicked (have to ask Ewok details but) it was like head & 1/2 on me at least (4'10" not saying much to u big guys I'm sure, lol)... but was simply treacherous feeling compared to Saturday’s chop! Especially after doing my version of a barrel role IN the water, lol - twice! Idok - I also experienced the lawn dart maneuver first hand! After that, I simply tried to float in the swells and STAY ALIVE! Was prob past time for me to finally have a bit more fear put in me to keep from killin myself in future! Need a bilge pump…lol, badly!

trick questions guys...
At Cpt.Hirams, do you have to mention a specific code to get the blocked rooms? and it is for sure on Sept. 9-10 right??
another option...are the campsites RV friendly, or is there an RV park nearby?
i'm still debating my options here. The 'rents have a nice bus I may borrow, or just crash at the motel.
another thing, do you need a 4 wheeler to get to the water from where you park? or is there a ramp.
I've never been out there before, and I only live an hour and a half away!
thanks,

Wow Saki ur too funny...and a bit brave there aren't you!:haha: That "chicky" is really cool by the way (all the Auggie girls are)! Don't be messin with the Augie girls now...I got their backs on here, "know what I mean"?

Sry to all on Capt. Hiram's delay. I have 12 rooms blocked off until next Friday. No standard rooms are left. There are 5 double-queen mini suites left on the river, there is 1 king mini suite by pool and 1 double queen by pool (pool is not river side and I promise you want to be on the river side where all the action is). And obviously, they can't count well, I dunno, I have two double queens with pullout sofas of the orignal 14 rooms reserved for Auggie people. Depending on how many people you wish to squeeze in one room, it is suggested you ask whether the type room you are interested in has a pullout sofa. Some rooms have adjoining doors, but can only be requested and not reserved since they will not assign rooms until arrival.

VERY IMPORTANT HERE...You must make reservations by next Friday or miss the discounts. For those that have posted up or pm'd me, why yes, there IS a secret password, LOL, and you are not going to like it!:sneaky:
I will pm anyone back with it (along with needed information) upon pm request. Just so you know, LOL, there is also a secret phrase upon arrival that you will be required to repeat, ON VIDEO, at the front desk prior to receiving your keys...you don't do it...you don't get the discount!:sneaky: (and it is great:haha: ). Just a hint, the secret phrase includes the secret password, and you may wish to pay the regular rates to keep from having to say it, or go camp with the others in this hot Florida sun, lol! Just remember, prissy girlfriends can turn pissy when their forced to be uncomfortable, I will personally attest! Besides, this place rocks at night!

Hiram's update. These are the exact rooms avail (scroll back for prices please):

fyi when booking - rooms referenced as in the main building are not on the river's side where the Tikibar/restaurant gift shop and marina are located.

4 of the King Deluxe Suites (main building)
these have an actual bedroom with one King bed off from rest of suite.
there is a pull out sofa in living room
there is a full kitchen (full sized fridge, microwave, stove top)

5 of the Queen Standards (Riverside)
these have two queen beds
some rooms have pull out sofas, some don't, so ask
no kitchenette

1 of the King Mini suites (main building by the pool)
there is one king bed and one pullout sofa
kitchenette

2 Queen Mini Suites (main building by the pool)
there are two queen beds and one pullout sofa
kitchenette

We already have rooms reserved on the river's edge if you want to try and get in same location (there are three buildings of rooms throughout the resort). Rooms on river's edge are broken into two buildings, those above the restaurant overlooking marina or tiki bar area. Rooms where we are looking directly out over the water in a building off by itself directly beside the restaurant. Again, the main building is across the street where the pool and office are located.

They have limited space for trailers on the property. There is a designated place to park them up by the office (and you will be required to complete paperwork with make/model vehicle and tag #'s). It is a bit of a pia there, so I am attempting to secure additional trailer parking in a lot they use within a block away. They need to know how many trailers before they determine if needed, so please post up how many trailers you will have with your group. For those fam w/ the area, this parking is before you get to Earl's Pub (hey Torr, didn't think about that place, they may have a pool table there, albiet prob a chessy bar table like yours:haha: :shooter3: ).

Saki, we are at Monster Hole, right?:cool2: Is it feasible for the Hiram people to beach there ski at Hiram's and ride out to spot; it's fine to do on a couch, but I just don't know about on blasters and stand ups. What do you advice here? Need to know because I will need to make arrangements with the Dockmaster c?

but youre right tim. riding with these girlie men is getting a little embarrassing. specially the ones with superjets that dont' put those things to use!

bring the pain!

right on man, someone's gotta get these cats riled up and trying something new. If I see one more nose stab I might puke. :shooter3:
