I think about three members from this board know me/have ridden with me before but for everyone else:

I'm a freelance photographer and instead of riding the entire invasion, I'll be shooting as much as possible. That said, I'm going to need a boat to ride in. So if anyone is bringing down a boat, get at me ASAP. If I can get a ride, you'll all have pictures and I'll hook you up on pricing.

* I can NOT ride on the back of a sit-down. I don't have a waterproof case and can't afford to risk losing my gear.

That said, if I can't find a boat to ride in, I'll be riding the whole event and not shooting on the water.

Either way, I'll be meeting all of you in a couple weeks!

Bring a good telephoto, that's my advice. The wake is supplied by the highway of cruisers. I will be taking some pics too, but I only have a 17-85 lens so only action that is fairly close to the shore, all free of course.

if i was coming out i'd bring the big lens's but im not so i guess you guys just have to come up to wave rave this year
