Hey it's been raining here all week with high tides that are crazy. Went to the spot to check it yesterday and it was flooded pretty good had to drive through 1.5 to 2 feet of water to get to the spot. The new inlet is twice the size from what it was a week ago.If I can get Dan to help me get the x2 in the truck this afternoon thinkin about checkin out the spot and assess the damage.
wonder if that dude by the new inlet was able to get his boats off the lifts.....this is probably his best and ONLY chance of the year!!!
im with you wolfie...I was actually thinking this morning about what to do sunday since its still going to be raining!
maybe we need to hit up an indoor range or something...

He will still, most likely, win. (in a normal situation). However, there is SACA (south anastasia community association) which is "way" green. They lobby to let nature take it's course, no matter who's oyster leases or livelyhood is at risk. The oysters are getting covered with sand,. Working people are going broke..... wealthy people are determining policy.....

WTF are you talking about? Is there a new inlet straight across from the ramp? The thin spot where the dredging pipe was going over the beach for awhile? I need pics. Oh yeah....how's the break there?

He put up a fight with the county commision to build that house in the first place. He won. He claimed that he would not hold the county liable for any natural "occurrances" and was granted a permit to build the house. He'll be asking for government help this year.

The break changes with each storm. The "new" inlet broke through during tropical storm FAY. There is a "new" break that is fun to ride outside the "new" inlet. We are talking about the homes that are threatened by the new inlet.
The new inlet is not really new..... it is shown on charts from 1760! It's called the "Pinion Inlet" (pinion being spanish for ROCK) although I'm sure I mispelled it.
In sum: It's happened B4 and it will happen again!@

I saw on the news that people are leaving Florida in droves for the "dryer & less humid" climate of BORNEO!
I was gonna ride today but I put on my life vest and began floating up into the atmosphere!
