is this pipe/manifold combo ok?

I have a 1990 kawi SX550. I just put on a westcoast pipe and jetsport manifold. new carb is on order. shortly asfer installing these parts i read Group K's 550 report, the said to use coffmans pipe, and a lot of others work poorly....any idea how this pipe will work?

it will work a lot better then the stock pipe.

I had that pipe on mine, I had a butchs (same as westcoast), mariner mani, westcoast head, and 44sbn. Lots of useable power I thought, plus it ripped!

There is no such thing as a good deal on a used SJ... That is if you can find one. If they are selling for a good asking price, they go right away. You have to be in the right place at the right time... I am starting to think my 550 will be my ride for another year.... :(
