Thanks to Madscientist & SBT I'm the new owner of a fresh 750 big pin crankshaft. So now, I am compelled to build something around this. Already running a stock 750, 44 sbn, Westcoast pipe, Total loss, circa 1995. Low to medium hours. Been reliable lately. Just charge the batt on occasion.
So now I'm thinking about climbing up to the high diveboard (fresh crank). OK, stay with me now, may have a Group K ported/polished case, have extra carb, thus dual 44 sbn's (need tweak'in). Jugs?
SXR 800(781?) bored/ported? maybe. Will things bolt up? A little head, yes, but wanna keep it to pump gas. The boat is stock except for the UMI steering column. I'm aware of the hull mods for an X2. But I sock at bodywork. Of course, the credit card may hate me, but I'll open this can off worms with ... Any opinions?
Happy Cinco de myo(sp?)
Cheers
Steve

Getting my thoughts together to start rounding up parts.
