where can you get parts for octanes? like pistons and what not...

The octane engine uses the same pistons and rings (and cylinders) as the 1200 triple. It also uses the same rods and gaskets. That engine is a 2 cylinder version of the 1200. It uses reed valves and crankcase from 700.
