Factory pipe head pipe flopping on and off. Stripped out the other two bolts that weren't helicoiled.


1 at Riot Ride.
2 at Rock N Ride.


This was causing my spitters sputtering and my power going on and off.

Nothing a six pack and some helicoils can't fix.

curse of the kawi. time to get that SJ you've always been wanting. Hell, we can even bolt that motor in.

Uh, sounds like a factory pipe problem not a kawi problem.

The FP manifold on my SJ def. had oversized holes in it before tapping.

Definately a FP problem... Its the exact same head pipe as a SJ B-Pipe, actually. Aluminum only holds up so long. I will never sell this ski. I love it. :woot:

that sux . problem is that you don't much hear of the superjet ones stripping out like that. my old hx used to love to do that but nothing else i have owned. maybe fp needs to make a 800 specific manifold if that's a superjet mani

I don't know that curse idea of the Kawi sounds pretty right on to me. My buddy a ripped coffman dry pipe of the manifold a couple times.

Manifold is different only in the way it matches up to the cyllinder. It is the same aluminum, though...

Actually, one was bad when I bought it... probably caused the others to do the same. Too much vibration.

Oh well, after this it will be bulletproof! :shooter3:
