i had to remove the engine on my 750sx to get it out. dont think u can get it out without at least sliding the engine forward in the in the compartment

pretty sure the engine has to be out. its only 4 bolts, a throttle cable, stator plugs and the hot wire to the starter to yank it... 8 minutes tops.

dam it, i only need about 1 more inch to get it out.
thanks for the wisdom.

i sold the factory b limited pipe, the sxr800 wet pipe would not fit, but a old school jetpro 650 x2 pipe will fit.

hawk, it's about the same top-end.
the jetpro pipe made it more rideable for me and my fat a$$.
i still am testing the idea about the waterbox going around the front of the gas tank.
i have a complete 550 gas tank and that should give me the room i need for a waterbox.

yes, but 750 pipes are made fatter and larger to offer a broader range of rpms control. putting too small of a pipe on a big engine will result in too much back pressure and too high of rpms. you won't get as good of low end response out of a 650 pipe because with that engine setup most of it's hit is upper midrange to top.

it's the way it is.
there's a bunch of 750sxi pro owner's that might value my wisdom and try this on there own jetski.
and they might even show me a banana or too !!!
little gains either way don't matter to me like some of the other's on the web.
i'm not a drag racer or show off like some of the pwc2trashu.com crew are.
i've been there in racing, and done that at the awards after the races.
i just try and ride !!!
i'm a better person after i ride !!!

dude, you are ate smooth up with the banana thing...LOL
yes, I've run 650 pipe on 750's too, but the low end sucks and I usually try to get too many tops out of them. bananas aside.

ok, here's the cheap way out to putting another exhaust on a 750 sx-sxi-sxipro.
the hose was about $55 and the u-tube was $33 and came from gordy30 on fleabay.

here's another waterbox setup i'm going to try and get up in front of my gas tank.
1 kawasaki 650sx-x2 stock oem waterbox adaptor
2 kawaski 300-440 oem rubber muffler's.
i used this setup in my vintage 440s/s and the 550mod's i raced in the stanup classes back in the day's, and they worked killer.
it was the cheap way out instead of paying big banana's for the pjs rear exhaust mod.

not "trooling", all I was doing was commenting about your setup, you're the one that decided to get personal about it. if someone tries to explain to you how to adjust something of fix a problem with your setup, you get all defensive like you think it's a personal attack. I was joking around with you about the banana thing btw.
if you are going to get all defensive about what I said regarding the pipe setup, and how a backfire will blow the sides out of those 440 resonators, then forget I said anything at all. sorry.
I was just telling you my personal experience with it. when I bought my superjet, it had a 440 resonator on it instead of a waterbox. the flywheel key was sheared and when it backfired it blew the side out of the resonator. don't be offended.

ok, that's what happened to you.
you must of put together your ski wrong or had something else go wrong, because this setup work's fine on my 98 750sxi pro jetski.
