loud? yes.
Fast? where?
from what I saw my octane would eat that thing alive and come back for seconds.

out of the hole...it looks like it hits pretty hard.

yeah, but low end hit does not equal FAST.

it's a freestyle boat... they are made from bottom end hit, not top end pull or acceleration....
look at the porting and you'll see why.

Couch - DUDE... I know the difference. the the OP obviously doesn't. HE said FAST. I just responded to it.
I have 2 Octanes. one stock, one not. and I'd bet dollars to donuts either would flat out KILL that thing on top. but deffinately not on the low end. Polaris motors dont make power on the bottom like the yamahammers.
WG - if that IS a Highroller build, he needs to stop making hybrids and get me my hood made. lol.

Okay first im sure your ski would kill it on top end, that ski is built purly for flatwater freestyle. Second it has a polaris 777 motor in it not a yamaha motor. Third that ski was built before you orderd your hood so it has no reason for slowing down your order

nothing says "look at me, I'm a badass" like obnoxiously loud exhaust.
A million Harley riders can't be wrong.

No hostility or anything, im was just stating that its not a yamaha motor in it and that it sucks on top end

my bad about the yamaha motor discrepancy, thats just what someone told me when I was recording it. never got a chance to really check out all the skis ya'll had out there. I knew nothing about the ski or the owner/rider, I just thought it was a really unique ski and hard not to look at. I got alot of video of many different types of skis that day so thought Id post them. I believe ya'll had a four place trailer with a SN, Octane, Wetbike, and an SXR. Really a diverse set-up,(jealous), and the octane was definately one of the more customized/modified skis Ive seen. It really seemed to have alot of punch, and its the only octane Ive ever seen on Travis. I like the sound too, and the tricks I saw pulled off on it that day were really smooth and impressive too. really good hood riding. I want an octane now! I'll try and get some video of bonzai's 2008 conversion/fixed steering SXR up too. Mounting it was more difficult than anything I'd ridden, but once I got a handful of throttle, I had more fun on that thing than a puppy with two peckers.
