Damn, I am tired of seeing this stuff. People need to think before they get on a ski...:frown:

Too bad, I think it is the responsibility of the guardians. Education prevents ignorance.

This sucks...it is not that hard to ride a ski  especially a sitdown. People just need a few minutes of instruction, a short ride with an experienced rider, and common sense and stuff like this wouldnt happen. Where were the parents... it looks like the article said about 5 yards down. It all boils down to bad parenting. Too bad the ski fragments couldnt tell the police that. When I have kids there first time driving on a ski and I am gonna be out on the water right there with them. If I cant be out there with them I am going to be on the dock watching them with an eagle's eye. This is just sad

The girl who died and her family rented from my company this week. The owner of the property just found a life vest in the property and wants us to return it to them. Freaky thinking she could have been wearing it at the time of the accident.

"the personal watercraft she was riding crashed at high speed" because we all know that PWCs can come alive just like the movie Christine and kill people. A better line would have been That the 16 year old crashed at high speed while operating a personal watercraft.Sad she died but people should think before they write:rolleyes:

"She did not have a personal watercraft license as required by state law, police said."

Education > *.*

Motorvehicle accidents happen everywhere.

That is sad... I can't believe how people will just let a kid hop on a ski like it's just a toy! People SHOULD by now realize what a responsibility a ski really is... Sad story though...

i saw a guy drop two kids (maybe about 12-13 yrs old) and a couch off at green lake a few weeks ago. they launched the boat and the guy drove away for the day so the two kids could play on the couch together.
and that right there is why everyone thinks all ski riders are irresponsible...:banghead: they need to interview people before selling them a ski... like when you adopt a puppy from a humaine society... would you say your house is a safe one?
