Octane Stock Intake Grate Vs. Octane Worx Intake Grate...

Worx Seems to work better but hangs lower than stock by just a little bit. Probably to claw / hook up better. Kind of annoying if you plan on driving up onto the beach.

What does everyone run? I was thinking of going back to stock.

I have a works on one ski and stock on the other. The works stays loaded MUCH better. but like you said. it does hang down a bit.

I have Worx on one and Watercross of texas on the other. The depth of the worx doesn't seem to be an issue when beaching IMO.

OUTTA curiosity: U ever look down the throat of the intake after beaching?

Yeah... there's a bunch of sand there. But when you launch the ski again, you just pick up the back end of the ski a couple times (up and down in and out of the water) and most of it washes out. then start the ski...

Its not scratches... it's called "hull truing"

I used the worx until mine broke. It worked much better than stock. Now I have the R&D. It sticks down more than the worx, but seems to be faster. (It could just seem faster because I had not riden in a couple of months.):dunno:

I am looking to purchase a Worx, if anyone has one for sale PM me. I have never tried one, but my buddy Dave says the Worx is much better. Can you fit a superjet intake in the octane??

I think it requires a little grinding/drilling to fit

^^^what he said^^^ Grinding or machining required on the front portion. I have seen it done a couple of ways. Need to oblong the mounting holes a bit too.
