I sold him a bendix on ebay from my 650sx. The bendix worked flawlessly when it was in the ski it was just a little ugly like all of them are once they are used, but none the less it worked perfect. The description read "working bendix from a 650sx" or something close to that. He sends me a message through ebay saying he just opened the package and the bendix is junk, its rusted to hell and there is no way its going to work. So I look when he recieved the package and it was 10 days prior to when he asked for the refund. Then I look at auctions he won recently. He bid on 2 bendixs within 15 min of one another way before both ended and ended up winning both. I didn't offer a refund policy on the auction and I wouldn't have given him anyway because I know the bendix works and he is just trying to return the one he isn't going to use. He should have asked me to cancel his bid when he won the other bendix 2 days prior to winning mine. Now he leaves me negative feedback on ebay.

if you have 30,000 positive feedback, or 30 positive feedback and 1 negative, people arent not going to buy from you.

I was just going through my paypal payment history, and this Bill guy bought a 750 cover off of me. He left me positive feedback, sucks for you. No but seriously, try to one of the comments that is bellow the feedback.
That sucks. What an idiot.
About all you can do is leave him one back. Also, you can put up a 'response' up on your feeback page, giving a little explanation that he was an idiot.

sad but true.
although I HATE that.
as a buyer, once ive paid my part of the transaction is done, post my damn positive feedback.
I wont leave feedback, for sellers who dont post mine first.
even if the transaction was perfect.
I HATE that holding feedback ransome bullshiat!

Man, I have 2 neutrals and a negative, just because I gave them a negative. Its BS. I paid for things and then get a negative because I receive it broken.

Never leave feedback unless it's left for you first or if you want you can leave on the 90th day after the transaction in the last minute the feedback can be left and the seller will not be able to leave it back for you becasue time has expired on it .
Feedback can be left for 90 days only so leave it for them in the last minute of the 90th day :sneaky: I do this whenever a seller doesnt leave feedback right away or I'm unhappy with the stuff

Thats not a bad ideal at all
I may try that one

I thought it can be left 90 days after the transaction or 90 days after the feedback from the other party.
In that case, waiting until the perceived last minute won't do a thing - the other party still has 90 days to respond from there.
Not sure if that's right, though.

straight from Ebay:
If you need to leave feedback for a transaction that is more than 90 days old, you may do so using the "single transaction form" link located on the Leave Feedback page. Remember, eBay only commits to items being available for 90 days, so if it is greater than 90 days you may not be able to leave feedback.
So, it apparently is possible in some cases to leave feedback after 90 days.

as a buyer i leave feedback once i get the item. as a seller i wait for the buyer to leave feedback first, because there are some real a-holes out there like cookerq62 found out.

The question I have. is this buyer sent you back your bendix or the other one he won at the other auction or is old one? if he did trick you on the part do a complaint with paypal for fraud. I have done it once and got apology from buyer that he say the mistake was with the other seller that he had got a similar part from.
I have over 650 feedback and 2 neg and one neutral check me out on eBay.

He never sent me the bendix back. I have had that happen though. People think ebay is walmart and you can just buy a new one and return the old one in the same box and its not going to matter.
