I have seen pictures (I may have one saved on my other computer, if I do I will post it later). I am thinking about doing it to my 1100 b1 after I do some testing w/ the stock pump.

I think it's been determined that the 144 pump is superior on smaller ski's.

Here are a few pictures a guy sent me of his 155 he put in a 1200 blaster.
Demon, what kind of HP will the 144 handle? I'm trying to figure out what prop to start with on mine, any suggestions?

I know that WDK with his 1200 couldn't get the 155 pump to work in a sj.

I am testing a 16/22 swirl in my 951 b1 I will let you know how it goes.

You have to increase the intake gullet size on the hull to make a bigger pump work. bigger gullet gives better acceleration, smaller gullet gives better top-end by the pump not becoming overstuffed.

That makes sense.
My B2(155mm pump) that i ride my kid on is a regular OEM 760 but it has dual 38's and you can literally hit the gas and it leaps out of the water like a stand up. It has TONs of low end hit. Its a all stock 64X just running the dual 38s and not the OEM 44s that come stock on the B2.
If you made a huge intake cavity like CARBONX2 says on a SJ or whatever hull i think it would hit like a freight train in the low end area and launch.

I am trying a 148mm 16/21 swirl using a 148mm wear ring with 144mm stator section. should be ready for testing wednesday. pump is finished and installed just have to finish some little odds and ends..

please let me know how that works.
I went ahead and ordered one of the aluminum 155 pump shoes from Jeff at waterdawg since I was getting a new razor hoods from him :bigok:. But fist I'm going to try a few different props I have before I make the jump to the 155.
