I just got this email from Desert Steel Motorsports
Hi everyone-

Scott and I wanted everyone concerned to know that thanks to superb cooperation from the Havasu BLM Field Office, coupled with valuable assistance from our Lake Havasu Visitors and Convention Bureau the difficulty we were experiencing relative to the 20066 World Finals has been successfully resolved to everyone's mutual satisfaction.

So tune up your boats, and pack your bags for Havasu '06, as the World Finals will be on the beach at Crazy Horse for the 25th anniversary event and the foreseeable future.

I am much better. Especially now that the World Finals issue is settled. It was a little scarey there for a while for me. Thank you for asking. I look forward to seeing everyone in 78 days!! Y'all know where to find me:cheer:

September 30 through October 8

Wish I was closer, me and 3 buddys rode out to Vegas this year in May for the Mini SX.......It was the best time of my life! Sj1million "Doug" got 1st in 10" "50 class" amerature, and 3rd in 12" "110 class" amerature 2nd row start......... We drove through in 45hrs, taking a 3hr nap the first night. On the way way back we hit up Guy Coopers house and Moto'd out there for a day. It was bad arse...... I didnt getsighed up in time this year, but I think Doug and I will both be Motoing in the Expert class against Mc Grath, Goose, Willy Browning, Guy Cooper and the rest of the Pros for next year..... Dougs lap times were within 2 seconds of Mcgrath this year, top 10 for pro class lap times!!!! Yeaaaaaa!!!! Doin it so BIG!!!!!!!!...........Sorry to rant, Im wasted!!!!!!!!

I know all of you guys going will have a blast..... anyone perticipating best of luck for you guys!

Yeah, well it is about time that they made up their minds..I already gave up my rental house becasue as of 2 weeks ago there was still an 80% chance the finals was NOT going to be in Havasu...And that info came from the IJSBA...

Dont get me wrong, I am happy that the decision was made and I am glad that we are going to Havasu, but did it take long enough????

Sorry just a little bit bitter about having to give up the rental house
