You'd probably have a higher success rate in the surf. Wear a helmet.

my thought is you should come ride with us at dunedin causeway.

If you want to see the best riders in florida come out with us to sebastion in 2 weeks. you'll see some rolls there for sure.

Wave rolls are by far easier.
My flatwater rolls still suck.

imo they are a different trick. rolling off a 5'+ wave isnt easy to just go for.
if you have the option surf is waaaay funner than lake.

on the gulf side there is a large group of us that ride at dunedin causeway (in dunedin)

to get to sebastion you get on hwy 60 till you hit water.

surf is simple, just go on 2-3 foot waves at first, make sure you can put the ski into a nose down or taildown landing before you go off bigger waves. and MAKE SURE THE WATER IS DEEP ENOUGH TO LAND IN ...probably better to learn off boat wakes in a lake, if you bail your ski isn't washing up on the beach...surf is fun but the saltwater sucks.....++ Laws are ridiculous in SoCal, it's not like Baywatch
