seems like it takes too long to clear the stock waterbox on my 750 when i give throttle. is a stock box too restrictive for a modded 750? any reccomendations?

Stock box is restrictive, but its not THAT bad. Ski should run pretty damn good with it in stock form. If you have a really noticable bog, I do not think its the waterbox. I run the stock box in all of my boats, and they run fine. My brother's 750 wb is not modded and it has no real bog.

do a spark plug test maybe it is to rich, did you try different carb settings, i know you are running dual carbs ask the guys on here their carb jetting and spring size in carb, does it run good at 3/4 to full throttle?

If its dual keihin's, could be expensive to jet, as the jets are around $8 each.

Diamond you ride surf right? Just my personal opinion. Slap a single 46 (w/SJ FA) in there and you'll never think about it again. There also extremely tolerant of water injestion, and with X2's thats a nice feature. And if you run the jetting specs that the 46 guys use, tuning will only take you a trip to flat for an hour or 2. Besides damage from him crashing it into sand, we have not put a wrench to my brothers ski in 2years...for an X2, its amazing.

you also may want to put the jetworks flow control valve on the stinger line
