View Full Version : surf barrel roll tips
Ok i want to learn barrel rolls off a wave next time out,
as i enter the wave to do an anti clockwise roll, do i turn the bars as if to turn left ??
to say if i want to roll left hit the wave turn left hard with the bars lean left / roll left ??

yes you turn left. start with a small turn to the right to get the ski loose as you come to the wave, then crank left and grab some brap. tuck your head and shoulder and dont die.

Crab broke his leg rollin, :ouch:
ive gotta balsy and tried, but i pussed out and cut the throttle too early and landed on my head a couple times...so if you try, definitely dedicate 100 percent

Just like he said, also, imagine you are trying to look up under the nose of the ski. your shoulders will drop.

i dont remember you trying to roll.
just hit it steep, slight countersteer, let off throttle turn other way to lock and pin it when the nose breaks the wave and dont let off. stay low you spin faster. stand up to slow rotation speed. with some dedication youll nail it
