Man you are so hard on poor old Louie... I figure it like this SXR's are big enough to be considered a sitdown and the PWCToday site is mostly sitdowns....well that will be enough out of me........
And with that said the John guy can almost barrel roll his stock sitdown (kum-n-suck-me sxr)....

We had a full day of riding and thanks to John "ready to ride" for coming down and spending some time, just goes to show there are some good people on sitdowns! Just kiding we have doos and other runabouts that hang. And the nices person that I've met in a while, Katie (can't figure why she hangs w/ us!) ran 8 gallans through her new to her SJ.

Thanks Lou. I had a great time. Rend really is a great lake, can't wait to go back. It was also nice to but a faces with names from the forums. Although I had ridden with you and Mark at GW, it was nice to meet JR, Terry and Brian.
Brian said I lucked out becuase they usually only allow one sit down so if I show up next time and someone else has beaten me there, I will be out of luck. LOL.
As far as Katie hangin, maybe she just does'nt know better....nah, that cant be it. She seemed to fit in pretty well.
Thanks again guys....

It was a good time. It was also nice to ride with some superjets for a change.
Katie is really getting into the groove with her SJ she just needs some hand holds.

I do have to say I don't regret my decision....the ski has some small kinks in it that need to be worked out and that 40 lb plate under the motor needs to go. I guess I rode it hard-I looked at it this morning and I don't think there is one section of hydroturf that isn't peeling off now-I guess it was that 35 mph sub I did :)
Had fun and will do it all again this weekend!!!

I wish I could of made it. My handle pole is hanging on by a thread though!
As stoyer would say, my house was like a "concentration camp" this weekend. I am down the next trip for sure.:Banane01:

John, Yea you sure missed it Katie is almost nose stabbing you have some catching up to do...LOL
Katie a 40# weight no wonder that ski don't jump like it should... high pitched prop and a extra 40 pounds with a stock grate it all comes together now.
So when is the next ride?? My shin should not be left to heal.

40 pound plate? I guess that would explain why it was so heavy pulling it out of the water...LOL

Speedfreek the #40 like you said is adding 13% WOW ! Strap a full 5 gal. jug of gas to your hood and see how that feels.

No shiznit  that is freakin heavy!! I knew it didn't scream like it should for what it had and that explains it. That is probably why I could pull her on a flat out run with mine cutting out because of a lean condition. That extra weight up front and her little 95 pounds in the back the nose was still plowing and she couldn't get it out of the water.
SO Katie PULL that motor before you ride again it will feel like a new ski... again:smile:
Or ship it down here and I can have it ready for the weekend for you
