No way, no how.
That's why I still have XP running in Dual Boot with Ubuntu.
PS: You might be able to pull it off in Wine.

I think I used Amarok for pulling down podcasts, but we switched back to XP at home due to lack of photo printing support on Ubuntu and a few other issues. I still have it running my htpc though.

By the way, Ubuntu does come with a program that lets you upload/download music/movies/whatever to your mp3 player, Ipods included.
It just ain't Itunes.

I'd recommend getting away from itunes if you can.

Use amarok. Its awesome. Unless you are buying your music on itunes there is no reason to use it.

Got my new Dell 1318 on Friday.
Spent a couple of hours on Sat fighting Vista... Lost the fight... Vitaly and Vista are not compatible...
Downloaded a fresh version of XP SP3... Deleted all the BS partitions, formatted the new one with NTFS, installed the XP.
Bear in mind, Dell does not support XP on the 1318.
Next... there are no XP drivers for the 1318... nothing works... the chipset is not supported, no network, no sound, VGA video only.
Spent about 3 hours figuring out the hardware components, downloaded 300MB of drivers, burnt them on a CD and installed. Beautiful!.. but no sound... IDT codec... damn...
Figured it out on Sunday...
So, it took me about 4-6 hours (or 2 days) to make this thing work with the XP.
Love the new laptop. Posting from it right now.
