Yes, I did the search and found nothing on just fx1s. Im gonna install them soon and was looking at the revs, what do you guys recommend and why. I really don't know anything about the differences, the revs are nice looking and a good price. If you have any specific tips on installation on the fx1 like placement let me know as well. Im almost done with my filling/sanding so the holds are next.

I hear the rev's are a hard install. I have rickers on mine. Just buy some cheapys to start and install them. Or go big with footwells. Open that riding stance.

I've been looking at each foothold and I think the revs are too fat for my fx1. They stick out too much imo. My feet are skinny and size 10.5 so I don't think I need such a big hold. Im thinking to go with wcf's hold, its a little higher than the revs but doesn't stick out as much. They look much simpler to install as well. They are supposed to be like rickters.

I have the revs in mine. They fit in fine besides the exhaust tube. I really didn't want to relocate the tube so I cut a groove in the toe of the foothold. Its fine I just have to jam my right foot into the hold when I'm wearing shoes. I have skinny feet size 12.
If the holds are too big it is easy to add another layer of underpadding to make them tighter.

Well guess what, I ordered revs last night! What sold me on them is yamasluts build. http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=35182&highlight=rev+footholds
I love the way he done the tray at the rear, makes a fx1 roomy. Im gonna try to duplicate it if I don't goof it up. Do you have any input on how far back to mount those revs, or is it just personal preference??

The further back you put them the less the exhaust pipe gets in the way. I should have taken more pics of the right foothold and how it fits over the pipe.

Cool, thanks for the pics. They will help when I install mine. Are you running a shortened pole? Im not, and im about 5'10". But these are short skis so I would probably be alright about where you mounted yours.

The pole is stock right now, but I'm going to take 3" off it. I'm 6' tall.
