My first post here..hopefully someone can help me out a little bit.

A few issues a ran into and I want to ask about them before I do anything drastic.

1.) see 1st pic. At the front of the pole it is getting hung up on by the rubber between the pole and the nose piece. The rubber will not allow the pole to come down any further than what is shown in the pics. Does this rubber peice get removed or cut/trimmed back?

2.) Onto the throttle cable. Can a RRP pole be used with the stock throttle cable. I have the pole set of the shortest lenght. And my cable seems to have a ton a play. Again i havent tired to adjust it yet. But I dont see how there is enough adjustment to take up all the slack. How does this work if i want to adjust the length of my pole, do i need to adjust my cable each time?

3.) At the location that the cables and wires go up into the pole. Should I be at all concerned about them rubbing on the pole.

Throttle cable should work fine, no matter what the length.

Cut back or take out the rubber piece or any stoppers that are hanging it up.
As long as the steering works, you should be fine.

Itll cost you about 1200 all said and done if you start out with a stock pole setup and have to buy a chin pad, umi steering, etc. If you switch from a UMI....it'll cost you $800 for the pole, and you just swap all the other stuff out.

That rubber pad comes out.

ice, you nailed it right on the head. I did get a little lucky, saved a little bit and bought the setup used from a memeber on the board
