Just wanted to show some appreciation for the peeps that put Wavedaze together!!

The waves absolutely sucked but I had a good time anyway!! I know a lot of preparation, planning, effort and sacrifice of your time has to go into putting on an event like this. I'm sure all the people who worked this event are a little bummed about the conditions and that was the one thing you couldn't control.

Everything else was awesome......great weather, good accomodations, good parking, lots of good peeps!

Again, just wanted to say thanks!!!! The Wave Junkies put on a great event!!

Couple of pics from my room's view........

Just wished to pop on and say how much fun I had as well…til I got to the airport this afternoon…TORR (that will be one of those long posts…thought they were going to cavity search me for real…police and TSA everywhere YOU nuc nuc…never listening to you again unless it has to do with surf Sir)!:sneaky:

It was fun, and Goldie Locks here fell in love with a yellow ski from up in NY (not for sale)!

Over 3000 pics somehow with no surf…might post a few up this week while we wait on Dave just to keep it going (might not).

Was great to see everyone again, as well as meet new people. Great planning as always Junkies! Gramps…we all missed seeing you ride for sure, yet very impressive you hobbled down for greetings tough man!

Thanks to everyone that came to the event, it was good seeing you all for the short time I could get out and visit. Hopefully these east coast freestyle events will combine to become a yearly circuit in moto-surf.

A big group of the wavejunkies worked on making sure the event went well over the past year, but the main organizers were junkies Allen(Capehenry) Brian(Conquistador) and Dan(Fusion)

Of course we also need to thank the sponsors and the AWA for all their support.

Everything was awesome, stuff started going wrong for me even before I let my house and my ski only lasted 20 minutes.... There were so many people to talk to and lots of people let me ride their skis!! It was a lot of fun!!!!

Thanks everyone who helped my try to fix up the square and those who let me ride!!!

It was nice to meet up with old freinds and to make new ones!!!

The event was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best part about that was when the cops came into the hotel, tore up the tickets & started apologizing :haha:

The hotel owns that side of 8th st & the sidewalk that goes with it. :nana:

hey now, this ain't Canada ! This is part of the heart land of America - the staple holding on to the Bible Belt. In VB there is no cursing and you can forget about wearing a thong on the beach.

The local law and government in VB is a small step away from a KGB modeled organization. It's even a class 4 mistermeiner to play ball or throw a Frisbee on the beach.

I thought VB was quite pretty and lots of great art work to look at. I don't think I could live there. I would be in jail or would be in debt for all the tickets I would accumulate. I thought the parking police here in Cocoa Beach were hard core. The cops up there are just out of control.

It was a good time and we broke most of the rules.

See y a-Scott

I'd like to thank everyone for coming to VB! :Banane57: Guess we'd better start the surf chant right after tona or something next year, but I know I had a good time hanging with everyone regardless. I met so many people whose names I have already forgotten (b/c I suck, but I'm trying to get better  ) & I wish I had the time to have spoken with everybody.

I'd like to apologize for the miscommunication from Saturday Night, but our lesson was learned. Last I heard, someone lost their job over that deal.

All in all, I had a blast & can't wait for Daytona! Start planning now guys, it's well worth it!

Yo Yamaslut-I had fun over the weekend as well. It was to short of a weekend I could have gone on for another few days.
Yeah, I was pretty much done and wanting to get home as well. That really sucked trying to find the car! :banghead: I just started walking the garage from one end to the other looking at each car and figured it was either there or stolen. It was a bummer that it was on the opposite side of the garage from where I thought it was. At least we made it home without airport security getting on us!

gotta go I'm at work.

What a blast. I rode in the morning when the surf was an inch or two bigger and much cleaner, it was worth getting wet over. The best part was definitely the peeps, great meeting new and old friends as usual! Thanks yall for setting it all up and for everyone who showed up and made it the 48hr party it turned out to be.

What was up with the NO (&%$@!) signs?

Those signs are to remind people that there is no foul language allowed in the resort area. However, it was recent determined to be a violation of free speech to which the city responded "they are simply a suggestion". Basically they are there to remind people that the oceanfront is a family environment.

It was great to meet everybody this weekend, I too won't remember all the names but I will be able to place more people to their skis. Its great everybody had a good time, it would have been awesome with good surf. I've lived here for 25 years and I've only seen the ocean that flat on a handful of occasions and then its only in late sping to early summer.

Next year.

lol VB is a really pretty city but it is deff in a police state that the communist bastards get outa contol with, lucky for us we have them working for us on this weekend.but you deff dont wana get outa contol at the bars at night here. We have the 1000s of jerks that started the riot at greekfest in the mid 90s to thank for the police state we deal with now.Basically the entire ocean front was robed, looted destroyed in one night, the police took advantage of it over the following yrs,and the whole citys tax revenue went to creating a ridiculous police state, that the residents of the city have to pay for in court with 10 times more police than we really need.......rant over

Wow had such a good time I am actually posting on here for the first time in I have no idea how long. I had an awesome time catching up with people I have not seen in a while and of course meeting a number of new people. Too bad I had to miss Sunday to attend my Sister's wedding, and yes she actually showed up for those who were following the story.
Thank you to all the junkies that put all the hard work into running a clean event, top notch! Also thanks to the guy from PA that hooked me up with the O-rings, not a clue what your screen name is.
I will definitely try to keep my calendar clear for this event next year.
