Anyone setup or configure a 'soft' PBX using software such as freepbx, asterisk, or callweaver?
I'm trying to find out if there's any knowledge here I can pull from...

Configuring and setting it up is really simple, assuming you know linux and are very familiar with the tui. Otherwise you're stuck with asterisk and their (reportedly) buggy gui web interface.
FYI: We have a PBX currently setup with callweaver that we're going to use to offer VoIP services such as fax and voicemail to email and international pass-through calling.
Working with callweaver/asterisk has brought me better understanding of the telephony network.

The KSU world is a dark scary place. I know enough to work with Panasonic hybrid systems at work.
