Lake Anna Race ..don't Miss This One!!!

Water sport productions will be holding a double points two round race july 8-9 at Lake Anna beach marina.

The marina is a great place to have a race and the owners of the marina actually WANT us to be there.

We are going to set out a bigger "get ready for the nationals" style track with added laps for all classes.so step up your workout routine ,you will need it.

There will be a catered cookout after the race sponsored by the Lake Anna rescue squad. just follow Jeff Earls to the food.

Awards will be given out on Saturday Night at an announced ceremony.

Also on a special note,This race will be where the Mark Macachon award will be handed out.Mark was a fellow racer who passed away and every year his parents sponsor a donation to a rider going to Havasu or the Nationals.

New for this event will be the "beginner challenge" all beginners who sign up and pay to race in the regular race will be automatically eligable to run in this race at the end of the day for free.
Two $75.00 gift certificates to Scotts Performance,(one in each class ) will be handed out good towards any Parts Unlimited products. helmets,gloves.gearbags,oil,spark plugs etc.

Freestyle will be big at this event.We hope to draw all the guys from Lake Norman to come on up and set the water on fire again.
$ 100.00 dollar sickest trick award judged by 3 jr riders.
$100.00 to Pancake Pete from Scotts Performance if he can pull off the double barrel roll off of a boat wake.

Supercourse will be run on both days.We have room to set up a good size track.Some of these ski's are approaching the 80 mph mark.45 minutes wide open.Can you handle it? sign up and show us.

Lake Norman was a great event ,let's keep the momentum rolling and set this race off.

I race sport class and i already know we have 9 riders ready to get busy.
call your friends,dust off your ski's and lets have full gates at this race.
it's time to put jet ski racing back on the map.

Our season is winding down,only Seaside left after this one.No excuse to miss this great race.If you haven't raced this season,what are you waiting on?

You can camp at the race site for $15 for the WHOLE weekend.it is a beautiful place and you will enjoy the scenery.

guys just got your entrys in the comp. thanks. Also we have to boats for the show. We are going to let you guys do flat water freestyle and also big air tricks in the afternoon. here is what we got
a brand new seadoo wake boat with water jugs
a boat that scott is letting us use with that
and you got to help me with this guy, there is a guy that will be watching that has a 25' big ass boat that throws off a huge wake. like a barg. talk him up and i know he will help. I know the junkies would like him. my rxp jump it last week and got some huge air off it. and im 1000lbs. so you ge tthe point. so we have everything lined up for you guys .

also i need the list of name so we can talk everyone up all day . i know that lake is going to love watching you guys get nasty out there. we have a huge tower of power for us to talk on all day and withthe radio station onsite thsi should draw a big crowd. cant wait to see you guys there.:arms:

This was the best race I have been to in a LONG time. The course was huge, weather was great and the place was incredible. I can see this becoming Region 8's premier event in the future, especially when they finish the hotel.

I really enjoyed watching Pete on that double up. I didnt' think he could do a full backflip off of a wake, I was wrong. :biggrin:

Yeah man, HUGE thanks to Andrew and Pete :bigok: . You guys did so much to make sure the non-racers were included this weekend. From Pete setting up random double-up runs to Andrew's random shout-outs, this weekend was a blast :Banane01: . Freestyle was amazing - where did those PA boys come from??

It was a great weekend. Perfect weather, awesome race site and great people. This was my 1st race and everyone was super helpful.
Pete, the junkies, & pa guys were ripping. Saw some of the best racing since the WF. Can't wait for next year.

As for the Rest of the event.....All I have to say it:woot: :woot: :woot: UN F'n Real. Definately the best race I've been to in a long time. Thanks to all the guys at WSP who worked their collective Azzes off to make this thing happen.

huge thanks to all of the racers who made the drive and toughed it out camping at the site.i think this was by far the best race of the season.great vibe all weekend.
freestyle off of boat wakes is becoming my favorite thing too see.those guys go crazy one after the other.a couple of super wipeouts.some really tight tricks also.you can see these guys getting better every event.

i hope that we made eveyone feel like they got what they paid for.the big track was confusing at first,but after practice i really enjoyed racing on it.

i can't believe the season is winding down.i am having such a blast in sport mod.
