The '08 visibility spout is getting to be a real annoyance.
Can I just remove the connecting hose from the pump's jet nozzle to the vertical visibility spout?
thanks

comeon you dont like how slippery it makes your right foot if it gets back to far?
i dont see why disconnecting that would hurt anything.

And cap it off on the reduction nozzle because you're just wasting valuable pump pressure.

interesting, what can I cap it with that will withstand that kind of pressure? the exit velocity of the water must be rediculous.
thanks for the pointers.

Actually the downward force exerted by the strong upward spray has been found to provide valuable water surface adhesive properties for the rear of the SJ, like a rear spoiler on a dragster :Banane09:

Your local hardware store should have a 3/8" rubber cap; pack it with some JB-Weld and clamp it on or find a bolt to cram in the hole.

There's an idea or you could hook it up to an electric solenoid and use it for side thrust during rotations.
