I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I am selling a bunch of my stuff including my Orange 840. I am building a lightweight Yamaha powered 24/7 hull and want to free up cash for that project. If someone wants my orange 840 complete I will take $2000 but if not I will part it out. I have my old 840 motor to sell as well. If you want to call me feel free to. 603 867 4605
I will keep you updated as I take stuff out to clean up for Ebay. I have a ton of parts.
Pete 603 867 4605
I will be at a wedding tomorrow.
This is a good idea of what is going up for sale:

After riding a few friends SJ's I am all about putting a 701 Yamaha 61X Cylinder/ 62T cased engine in my other X2. I just need to fab up some bed plates...
Keep us posted on your build. I am curious to see another light weight hull. I am debating on getting an aftermarket hull but I will get an SXR one...

My ZIp is 03867 Rochester NH. I rode it today (3rd time this year since Pensacola) It ran strong as usual. If you want the whole thing I would bring it down to Conneticut. There are a couple parts that you get if you want the whole thing that I wouldn't sell if I parted it out too like that waterbox (MMF) and the carbs (SRE). The paint on the topdeck looks kinda rough. For some reason most of the clear peeled off. It still handles insane though.
I have a complete hull fully modified ready for paint as well. It would be about a month less work for anyone looking to build a serious X2. I will get some pictures Monday after I get back from the wedding.

Pete, I am interested in your hull ready for paint. I will hit you up with a PM through the "other" site. I rarely come over here. I can arrange pick up. Also, lets talk about what else you got....

Yeah if anyone tried to collect all the stuff I have in one hull it would cost way more than that and take a lot of late nights to get it together.

Your motor is worth more then 1/2 of what your asking. Part her.

Agreed. If I had the cash I'd buy it and hang it on my wall as a tribute to the X2God. :Banane09:
Seriously though, anyone wanting to build an X2, DON'T! You'll be 5K into it going damn, wish I'd bought Pete's old boat.
I would love to have it. Especially for 2K. You can't even get your hands on most the parts in this boat. I know, I tried to build one just like it minus the SWEET engine, pump mods, etc. One hell of a deal. Makes me seriously want to go to the bank and take a loan out, just buy everything Petes got. :beerchug:
Are there any of those bottom hull mod plates floating around anywhere up there between you guys? I HAVE to try that out on my new hull!

Originally the machine shop bill including the parts was $2300 to put that motor together. I have a fresh SXR impeller from impros for it too if I don't part it out. Been too busy after work lately to start digging out all my stuff for sale. It is time consuming.

I shouldn't be any other way! You are offically the Sanford & Sons of the X2 world. I only have two but I have enough spare parts to build at least one hole one :)
Congrats Again!

Post a picture of it in the back of your Civic, that was awsome! I bet you got some funny looks when you were driving out of the pits sunday.
Make sure you put some fresh plugs in the 840. Those were pretty old. It is amazing how much of a difference fresh plugs make.

its nice to see that you got that ski a true x2 junkie, maybe bring it to wavedaze, you must be the only person in the world with 2 x2s with a 800 motor you lucky guy, i rode x2 guys 800 with total loss and it is a very fast ski

Wad your an f'ing whore.... jk!!!!!!! LOL!!!
CONGRATS ON THE 840! That was the best X-2 purchase ANYONE has ever made. You now own a piece of X2 history. Without Pete and his big motor X2's..... used X2 parts would be ALOT cheaper today, cuz no one would be riding them.

well i road it yesterday and fell in love. i normally like tall bars but i was not bothered by the low bars.(we will see how long that lasts) it was real lose in the rear but that is how most that do rolls like it i think. it has great power. i will have to race it with my other 800 and see how it compares.(mid range wise) now all i have left to buy is paint for one 840 one 800 and a 750 or 2 and i am done spending money on 22 year old jet skis. and i can not wait to get this thing to the ocean.

AWESOME! I love petes old (your new) ski. Being Jonny sold one of his new ones, I think you are now in the lead as having the best X2 collection. Does it stil have the daytona duct tape marks on the hood?
