IM thinking about buying this machine ( used for $200)
1gb ram, 2.2 Ghz AMD 6700 processor, firewire, PCIe ATI radeon 256K 1300x graphics card, 200GB sata HDD, DVD dual layer burner..
No monitor or any accesories.
is it DECENT machine?
son wants it to play Halo and other similar type games on.
his current machine is a slower 1.3 P4, and 512k Ram, with a similar Graphics card ( agp though)
is it worth $200?
all factory OS ( Xp media center which I hate) I have a licsence for XP pro though, I can and will install if needed.
any input on this?
we discussed building him a game machine, but I think this is a much cheaper ( and faster) way to get by for another year or two..
input is appreciated..
