I'm trying to find the old tnt thread where we talked about cutting up a blaster mod.
the search results are all messed up. is it me or is there a problem?

after looking closer it won't search for mod or tnt. That sucks.

The search index doesn't do 3 letter words I think. I can change it, it's just a performance hit because of the massive amount of 3 letter words.

here are some importaint 3 letter words to search for: cdi, mod, tnt
is there away to make exceptions for those words?
SuperJETT

That's what I'm doing actually. I didn't think of CDI, any others that people can think of?

If we can get a list of 3-letter words that need to be included, I'll add those and rebuild the search index.

wow, if you consider company names, you may wanna make it so it wont search for 2 letter words.
how does it affect performance? if someone doesnt search for words like "the" and "and", it shouldnt cause a performance loss. right?
The index of words gets quite a bit larger when you add in the 3 letter words. Stuff like hat/hot/hit/hut pat/pet/pit/pot/put add up quickly.
And yes sfl needs to be in there...:cheer:

Alright, I rebuilt the search indexes with these extras so it should be better now. Let me know if you want more words added.

I think you should really add some 2 word exceptions. I was searching for some sxr vs sj threads and SJ isn't searchable.

I'm trying to do searches on FX1 and FX-1, and it says there are no matches. Huh? There's a ton of FX1 info here I'd like to search through before I ask a bunch of stuff that's already been covered. Can you add FX1 and FX-1 to the searchable words list. Thanks.

Right now the minimum is 4, I have to do some learning about mysql/our new server to change it to 3.
