oh i forgot to tell you what was wrong with it bored to the max limit engine siezed started taking it apart and couldent control my self so now it's just wires and some gas lines in it..waiting for new parts

also if you look it's a 440 manifold/pipe (i think) and because of that theres the red crap all over the side of the engine to keep water from filling the hull(idk dont ask....)

I wouldnt give you money for that ski, it looks like a money pit... you will put $ in and never see anything good out of it... the 550 piston port is going to suck your wallet dry... (trust me, ive been there)

get a loan out for a SJ, they arent that expensive for a decent roundnose... and yes, you can get a loan if you're 16... do it, i'll let you ride mine if you need some motivation... im just 2 hours north on Interstate 69

I have a 440 or 550 piston port cylinder since you said that one is maxed out. want me to look for it and see what bore it is?
DON'T go down the slippery slope of loans for toys at such a young age. If you don't have the money to pay for something it means you have not wanted it long enough and/or bad enough to save for it.

though i do agree this thing will be a money pit, maybe ride it for about a year or so and upgrade was the plan. with the job i have i can set aside a SJ fund or somthing and still support this thing...

That is the old Team Butch paint job from Grand Rapids, MI. I think I might have almost bought that 15 years ago or so, it was an all tricked out race boat at the time.
I loved that shop, bought my first ski there back in 92.

I dont think that is an actual Team Butch Ski, much less Christy Carlsons or Sheldons old ski or hull............. The pole paint job, the colors go across the pole, on the Team Butch paint jobs, the colors did a single scallop up the pole, like a spike, each color scallopped over the color above.........

Also, the ski would not have the rear sponsons on them.......... Most removed them for racing.......... Engine most likey is not the engine that would have been in there....... Too Many Stock Parts.............

Tip, at least yours doesnt have spider webs hanging from every where. My 550 is crap and i want an sj. Since im 15( youngest on this forum:frown:) my parent have been like you should poably go ahead and start saving for a car and im like nope sorry i got priorities:biggthumpup: .

Yeah thats not any of my work was that color when I got it,I'm pulling the engine out to put in the 300sx build anyways and I can guarentee the paint work on that one will be primo
