The first reports that I am seeing are saying 2-3 footers out of the Northwest on Saturday and 2 footers on Sunday out of the West-Northwest. If this holds true, we'll have waves, but they won't be that pretty! Hopefully the winds will shift East throughout the day and the waves will clean up.
Water temp should be around 73 degrees (probably warmer at the beach). 81 degrees and mostly sunny on both days with only a 10% chance of rain!

just for my information what are you using to base your surf report on? I use a bunch of sources but I can't ever get wave predictions 7 days in advance? fyi the noaa buoy 20 miles off cleveland was showing water temps around 75+ unless it has gone down some... expect warm air and water.
we may need to hijack some big fast boats to get the surf rocking!

Based on the wunderground.com forecast for winds this weekend, it doesn't look good. Hopefully the shift happens a day ahead of schedule.
One thing I've learned over the years though, forecasters are really clueless, especially 5 days out. I always get a chuckle when one of our local stations shows their 30 day forecast. One of these days when I'm retired and bored, I'll compare their 30 day to what really happens to see how inaccurate they are.

Yup. Darin is right. It is based on the winds for that day.

Northwest (waves, but choppy) This is predicted for Sunday NW 9mph
