Waterbox and PROP question

The FX1 I just bought has a DG waterbox in it. With the FPP, it sounds like an XMETAL superjet....LOL It sounds awesome, Nice poppy brap.....But too loud for me to have one of my skis. I know FX1's are loud even stock, but will a stock waterbox make it alot better? This DG box looks like a 24oz beer can, its TINY.

On a side note I am taking out for its first rip right now, STOKED!!!!

New motor ran awesome. Ski is cavitating though pretty bad. Guess I need a new prop. I dont want to put the $$$$ into a 144 pump swap for my backup of backup of backup ski. Anyone running the 18/23 Skat prop with a FP?

Works fine........you'll need a rev limiter mod though (if you don't already have it?).

Awesome, THANKS! I have an enhancer so I think I'm good. Although I have no idea where the rev limit is set too.

Its very interesting, the FX is awesome. I even have about (3) 650 pumps laying around..... But I have no interest in glassing (or any projects) during the summer...LOL I just want to RIDE!!! The FX is just to get my pole skills up for the RN I will probably be building next year.

And I give anyone who rips an FX in the SURF a ton of credit. I can ride a sj ok, but this has a learning curve...lol I have not been so sore from falling 100x like I did today, in years.
