Well I have done better flat water roll attempts than this before, but this is the one Frosty sends me film of. Thanks alot :friday: I need to get more air so that I don't sound all congested for three days after riding all the time. Maybe if I could get those set up wakes down, hmmm....

only suggestion is to remove the gas cap, kick the SXR to the side and slide a SJ in its place, reinstall gas cap.................
ok, bad joke.

Is that picture 1/4 or 3/4 roll?

1/4 with no set up wake on flat water. Like I said it wasn't one of the better tries of the weekend, it was just one that Frostys wife caught on film. I can't seem to get the height to make it without a wave or boat wake.

Without a setup wake, it's going to be tough.
Spend some time practicing setup wakes.

Netti pot with saline solution. Works fast and won't irritate your sinus cavity!!!! Can be had at walgreens, cvs, gnc, etc...!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a gnarley sinus infection last year. Couldn't breath for 3 weeks. I had to get antibiotics.

i can't breathe through my nose for at least 12 hrs after coming off the lake. but vicks vapor inhaler stick seems to help. i hate nasal spray because of the way it runs down the back of your throat...yuck! worse than the first time i did blow and had that drip go down my throat

I double up on Allegra the days I ride, I also have a sinus rinse thing from RiteAid called Neil Med Sinsus Rinse or something like that. I think the Allegra helps the most.
My Dad loves Afrin but says it is bad to get hooked on it because if you use it more than a few days you start to close up worse than before without it (which is where he is at with it).

yeah, I still having issues even with the new SJ. I bought the afrin, which worked but everyone says don't use it, it's adictive fast. Saline solution is the way to go. I'm going to have to get it worked out soon or visit the doctor

The cheap walmart saline worked great! I think i am doing something wrong upon entering the water. I try blowing out as i go in, maybe I should just hold my breath?

I just need them on wave days...The inverted stabs turn my nose into an intake grate.

I always use afrin after riding, no "adictiveness" or anything.
Plus I always blowmy nose whenever I come in even if I dont need to just to make sure I get alot of the lake ******** out.

Nose clamp helped alot today. I have to practice 'not blowing air' out of my nose when I go under water. I think thats letting it in.

That is exactly what I think I am doing, blowing air out and letting water in. Holding my breath my be a better idea.

Used a nose plug 1/2 the day today...It sank unfortunately. I learned to NOT breath out again and it made a big difference, no water in the schnozzz today!

son of a bitch, I thought I was the only one with this problem. I can't get much sleep at night after riding because my sinuses are slammed shut. I thought about trying the nose plugs that kayakers wear. I have allegra but I always forget to take it.
