What up fools...happy 4th to errbody.
I bought a 650 SX - 89 model 2 years ago and have gotten to where I am fairly comfortable on it. To the point that I am considering a couple of options...
First option, keep the 650, and ADD to the existing laundry list of items added. Here is what's on it as of today: Skat Trak 65 impeller, R&D top load intake grate, Ocean Pro ride plate, finger trigger throttle. What else (less engine work...currently trying to decide if I do a few Group K improvements) would make this a better performing option. Bars are stock and engine is stock...less the oil block off...
Second option, score an updated model unit, either Kawi or Yamaha....need advice on size and make as well as modification considerations.
Primary riding is at a Lake Norman in NC, but considering going to Myrtle Beach or somewhere in SC/NC on weekends for wave riding???
I am 36 and currently enjoy Motocross, but my bones are beginning to get old :puppy_dog_eyes:
Enjoy any jumping/free ride, etc...
Looking for the best options in everyone's opinion.
Thanks, Patrick
