I'd just use Linux.
Assuming Linux works without modification on Macs....

I was triple booting xp, ubuntu and leopard. it was fine but I could not get my wifi card to work. so I never used it much. now I just double boot. it is kind a trophy comment though. I loved telling the mac web surfers about it while they sat in the coffee shop. they spent 2k and I spent 500.

haha, true. funny thing is i have a powerbook with osx on it here already.. i just want it for a conversation piece and to see how it compares at this point. nothing would freak the mac guys out at my office more than sitting in a meeting running osx on my old hp laptop. :Banane35:
my quiver is getting thick... and this is just the pc in my office and a few of my laptops.. i have a few VA Linux 2u servers with hotswap drives, a couple of Sun ultra's, another pc in the garage and another laptop in the bedroom.. geeks get paid nigga!!!! :fest06:

I ran OS X on my dell for the first 8 months of this deployment. Finally purchased a Mack Book Pro.
Found http://www.insanelymac.com/ extremely helpful.

Recommend you use Kalaway OSx86 10.5.1
Easy install with minimal problems. Most of the problems have have been answered on insanely Mac's message boards.
