The Bronco 180 is basically a nose stab without a wake or prehop... basically just an S turn and gun it .... I cant do one personally... I see Stoyer do it on the Wamilton Freestyle Volume 1 video so easy... awesome looking trick... figured I'd post up a trick thread on it since I just watched that portion of the video again for the 1000000X trying to figure out how he does it...

Good job Eric. So what was the secret . . . was it all in the timing? I know I can't get anywhere close to the height as the video.

I guess we need to start referring to you as Stoyer Jr.

lol... maybe if I keep practicing! :-)

the secret was in the timing, speed, the sharpness of the "S turn", and using the body to move the ski... I just kept on trying and trying and eventually I started noticing differences when I did certain things.... played on that, and then it started happening.... but its still a bit sloppy most of the time... biggest thing I need to do is learn how to ride it out cool. Hopefully by the next time we see eachother I will be doing them just like Stoyer and maybe even have some rolls down too! (but that will be a whole lot more practicing!)

k... so I had them... I did like 5 clean ones in a row on Friday... went out Saturday and my first one I did clean, and then I changed something... now it is just like a 1/2 barrel roll and I land on my side/head (does not feel good after about the 20th time...). My neck feels like I was in a bad car crash and my left arm has bruises all over it from smacking the water over and over again.... I cant seem to figure out what I changed... I will make video next weekend... anyone else ever have this problem when first starting nose stabs?

cool thanks man... I will use that... hopefully those instructions will help my problem... I dont know what I started doing to cause my issue... it was weird because it was like all of a sudden I had it... and then it was gone... I will be curious to find out what I started doing wrong to screw it up...

I tired them a couple times, and no luck. I got upside down once, but just plunged straight into the water... In the video he gets like upside down with his nose angled down.. I dont how he does that. I was perfectly straight when I was upside down, which gave me no way to ride out of it, even if I could have.

you will get it..... it took me a bit of practice to loose all hesitation and gain consistancy... also Put-In-Bay is only 9 days away, so you'll have lots of time to practice up there too!!! if you're not too hungover that is.... :-)
